Closed comedones are small flesh-colored lesion commonly referred to as ‘white-heads’. Open and closed comedones are most common in oiler areas of the face, including the nose, forehead and chin.

Papules are small, solid, inflamed bumps that are red in color and do not contain pus.

Pustules are small inflamed bumps that are red in color and contain pus.
